Who’s @ Paradise January 2010
As promised a quick Who’s @ Paradise to keep you all updated! It as been great to welcome back so many familiar faces over the last few weeks.Asko & son Aleksi returned for some sunshine and enjoyed a couple of days out diving with us. Giovanni & Elena were also back for more and yes he found his Angel Shark! Lovely to see you all again- great job done!
Shannon was back for more and this time took the opportunity to complete her PADI Open Water Diver Certification. Jeff of course somehow managed to fit in a dozen dives- and also accompanied Shannon as chief photographer. I didn’t see you jump at the chance to swim alongside her for her swim test (completed in record time- I hasten to add)
Also completing their Open Water Diver Courses were Mike and Mercedes & Miguel. Mike had already completed the pool training and theory in the UK and just needed to complete the Open Water training dives with us. This is a great way to become certified as it shortens the time needed to spend away from family whilst on holiday and also has the benefit of completing the sea dives in warmer water! If this is something you are interested in just ask us about how an Open Water referral course can be completed. Or instead bring grand parents on holiday with you for a spot of babysitting as Mercedes & Miguel did. Fantastic guys- we hope to see you again soon.
Graham was back with us diving and this time we also met daughter Nicola and her husband Kevin. Both Nicola & Kevin were qualified divers but in need of a quick tune up with a scuba review- so we jumped in the pool for a bit of a refresher and re-familiarization of some skills and then out for some turtle action.
Some scuba newbies took the opportunity for some saltwater action and completed the Discover Scuba Diving experience program. After a quick overview of kit & techniques it was into the pool and then out to sea. Marc was joined by diver friend Gary who was back out here staying at Tropical Park and sneaking a few dives in. Also it was a family affair for Dad Goran, daughter Sara, & Kristofer who all joined in on the DSD program.
Finally, a special visitor to Paradise Divers who made his daughter very proud when he completed his Open Water Diver course. Well done Dad.
